This Week’s Valvoline/Seubert Calf Ranches Ford … Josh Richards will pilot chassis No. 23 at The Dirt Track at Charlotte. This No. 1 Rocket machine ran previously this season at Portsmouth Raceway Park in October for the Dirt Track World Championship.
Charlotte Stats … Richards has five wins (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2013), 11 top-five finishes and 15 top-10 finishes in 23 starts at The Dirt Track at Charlotte. The West Virginia native has 18 top-10 starts with his best start of first coming in 2013 at the World Finals.

Double Team … Richards will have a teammate this weekend at the World Finals as Rick Eckert, who filled in for Richards during his medical absence is competing for points in the World of Outlaws Late Model Series and will run a second house car for Mark Richards Racing this weekend.
Race Rewind … In Richards’ last appearance at the Dirt Track at Charlotte he earned his fifth-career victory at the four-tenths-mile clay oval. The 26-year-old started on the pole in Saturday night’s finale and led all 50 laps to take home the victory and capture an unprecedented third World of Outlaws Late Model Series Championship.
Meet the Three-Time Champion… Richards will make an appearance at the Carolina Ale House in Concord, N.C., on Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 7 p.m. ET for “PRN’s at the Track” live show hosted by Lenny Batycki. This will serve as a kick-off party for the World of Outlaws World Finals weekend. The event is from 7-9 p.m. ET and will feature multiple driver interviews.
